Also, when using auto sign-in, you must not configure auto sign-in on your device at design time. Instead, auto sign-in should be configured manually after first signing in as an administrator. Turn on Unbranded Boot settingsUnbranded Boot is an optional component and is not enabled by default in Windows 10. It must be enabled prior to configuring. For end-users, Unbranded Boot is available through Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off. If Windows has already been installed you cannot apply a provisioning package to configure Unbranded Boot; instead you must use BDCEdit to configure Unbranded boot if Windows is installed. BCDEdit is the primary tool for editing the startup configuration and is on your development computer in the %WINDIR%System32 folder. You have administrator rights for it. BCDEdit is included in a typical Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) 4.0. You can download it from the BCDEdit Commands for Boot Environment in the Microsoft Download Center if needed. Configure Unbranded Boot using UnattendYou can also configure the Unattend settings in the Microsoft-Windows-Embedded-BootExp component to add Unbranded Boot features to your image during the design or imaging phase. You can manually create an Unattend answer file or use Windows System Image Manager (Windows SIM) to add the appropriate settings to your answer file. For more information about the Unbranded Boot settings and XML examples, see the settings in Microsoft-Windows-Embedded-BootExp. Customize the boot screen using Windows Configuration Designer and Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM)If Windows has not been installed and you are using Windows Configuration Designer to create installation media with settings for Unbranded Boot included in the image, or you are applying a provisioning package during setup, you must enable Unbranded Boot on the installation media with DISM in order for a provisioning package to successfully apply. First you have to create the image or package.
In the following image, the BootLogo is identified by the green outline, the BootStatusIndicator is identified by the red outline, and the BootStatusMessage is identified by the blue outline. Replace the startup logoThe only supported way to replace the startup logo with a custom logo is to modify the Boot Graphics Resource Table (BGRT) on a device that uses UEFI as the firmware interface. If your device uses the BGRT to include a custom logo, it is always displayed and you cannot suppress the custom logo. Related topicsHackBGRT is intended as a boot logo changer for UEFI-based Windows systems. SummaryWhen booting on a UEFI-based computer, Windows may show a vendor-defined logo which is stored on the UEFI firmware in a section called Boot Graphics Resource Table (BGRT). It's usually very difficult to change the image permanently, but a custom UEFI application may be used to overwrite it during the boot. HackBGRT does exactly that. UsageImportant: If you mess up the installation, your system may become unbootable! Create a rescue disk before use. This software comes with no warranty. Use at your own risk.

I don't think it's a manufactures logo, I don't really know what that is. I am not talking about the lock screen. 37 people were helped by this reply ·Did this solve your problem? Thanks for your feedback. Well Mystic Taz I Might Be able to answer that Question as to why Those Boot Loading Icons are Different than the default windows 10 Image. The reason why is Because Manufacturers Like Dell, HP, ETC will hard Code Those different boot icon images Directly into the Computers BIOS itself. So they don't actually Edit The OS's Boot Logo Image/Registry They Just embed the image they want to appear Into the BIOS of the Computer so that the Windows OS will display the Hard Coded Image(aka the companys logo) By Default, rather than loading the basic windows 10 Blue Logo. And If any thoughts of editing your computers BIOS are running through your mind right now, let me Highly Advise against it Because Editing Your BIOS can literally Make Your Computers Hardware Unusable. So I recommend Writing to Microsoft and kindly asking for them Make a customization for this feature of windows. With Best Regards,,,Dalton.. Did this solve your problem? Sorry this didn't help. It would have been nice is Microsoft did like back in the Windows 95 and 98 days, just add a Logo.sys. 1 person was helped by this reply ·Did this solve your problem? Sorry this didn't help. Great! Good I'm so Glad You Figured Out How to Change it, I wish I could change Mine But my Motherboard is a bit older so It doesn't have that function. But I totally agree with you on the Logo.sys Method on the older windows OS's, at least it allowed people to customize There OS. Even Though Windows Has Come a long ways since the 95 Days They have gotten rid of some pretty nice features along the way. Is it possible to change the Windows logo during boot in My goal is to show just a splashscreen until the application is loading. I don't want to show Windows logo, but black screen is also bad idea (because of no feedback). In Windows 8/10 tablets I have seen branded boot screen, so it is possible there, but not sure how to achieve this in Windows 10 IoT. According to Unbranded Boot Overview (Windows Embedded Standard 8): Change Boot Logo Windows 10 MobileThe only supported way to replace the boot logo in Standard 8 with a custom logo is to modify the Boot Graphics Resource Table (BGRT) on a device that uses UEFI as the firmware interface. If your device uses the BGRT to include a custom logo, it is always displayed, and Unbranded Boot cannot suppress the custom logo. I know it is for Windows Embedded, but that is the closest article I found about branding. I don't know how the Raspberry Pi 2 booting works and whether it has UEFI or what. I guess it is at lower level.

How to change Win10 boot loading animation to custom?I know it is still technically early in the life span, but anyone know if there has been any updates on being able to customize the boot loading screen (Blue Windows logo with animated dots at the bottom, during start up)? Really wanting to change up the branding for an arcade/HTPC machine to something more personal.. More custom. In my research attempts, there was plenty of information on doing it for Windows 7, but Windows 10 still seems to be a mystery for most. Some even believe it is not possible due to the new OS having it 'baked in' essentially. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Also, I would like to change the shell, for booting straight in to something like Kodi or EmulationStation, etc. I know things can be done in Classic Shell, but I know it is still working out the compatibility bugs with Win10 through updates. Also, all the info I have found has been more about changing Win10 back in to something visually similar to Win7, not about custom shells and boot-to options. So information in this area would be great too. But mainly looking for how to customize boot loading animation, currently. Thanks for your time.
